Anand, Fifteenth World Chess Champion !

Viswanathan Anand wins the World Chess Championship, which has taken place in Bonn, Germany, from October 15th to October 29th, against Vladimir Kramnik by 6.5:4.5.
In the same time, India dominates World Youth Championship at Vietnam with twelve medals.
India is well-known for his chess stars: Parimrajan Negi, Humpy Koneru, Pentalya Harikrishna, Krishnan Sasikiran... India is now the great chess nation !



Anand wins a lot of game with black pieces using the sharp 'Bb7' variation of the Meran defense. Here is the fifth game of the match, which ended with a tactic shot:
